Belgrave Archive · Windows app

Review video and documents on Windows.

A desktop workspace for picture, pages and stills. Leave a note on the frame or the page. Send a share link when someone outside the room needs to look — they do not need the app.

Desktop software

  • Windows 10 and 11
  • ProRes, DNxHR, H.264
  • PDF and stills
  • Local files, no wait

Product

One Windows workspace for the cut and the paperwork.

Belgrave is not a browser tab. It is an application you install, so playback, colour and local disks behave like the rest of the finishing floor.

Playback

Open the file. Don’t wait for a transcode.

Belgrave plays from disk. ProRes, DNxHR, H.264, a still off the camera, a PDF on the server. Review can start before anything is uploaded.

Review

Notes on the frame, and on the page.

A comment at 01:14:07:12. A redline on page 12 of the script. Both live with the version they belong to, not in a chat thread.

Documents

Scripts and call sheets next to the cut.

PDF, scripts, cue sheets and stills sit in the same project as the timeline. If it has a frame rate or a page number, it belongs here.

Shares

Send a room, not a folder.

A branded link with your still, your type, and the permissions you set. Downloads off, watermark on, expiry on Tuesday. They watch in a browser.

Frame-accurate review

Leave the note on 01:14:07:12, not in an email.

Play, mark the frame, keep going. The director, the colourist and legal see the same playhead. Resolve the note on the version it belongs to.

  • Step a frame at a time, at the project frame rate.
  • Comments stay on that version. V7 does not inherit V3’s noise.
  • Search dialogue when someone asks for “the bit with the hawk.”

Shooting script and call sheet on a production table

Documents

The script lives with the cut.

A redline on page 3 of the pink revision sits in the same project as the picture lock. Call sheets, cue lists and legal PDFs are first-class files, not attachments.

Share links

They open a room. They do not install Belgrave.

You work in the Windows app. Reviewers get a link: the cut, the pages, the stills, and the permissions you chose. No zip, no WeTransfer, no extra seat.

Northwind S2 · Ep 03

Picture lock V7, shooting script and a key still. Watermark on, downloads off.

Windows application

Belgrave is software you install, not a website you log into.

Local disks

Open media from a RAID, a SAN or the laptop. Playback does not wait on an upload.

GPU playback

The Windows app uses the machine you already grade on. Scrubbing should feel like an NLE, not a tab.

Offline notes

Mark the frame on a plane. Notes sync when you are back on the network.

Install Belgrave. Put the cut in it.

The Windows installer is 64-bit, for Windows 10 (21H2 or later) and Windows 11. You can also open a browser preview of the Northwind project to see review before you install.
