What we set

• Session. Keeps a signed-in visit together if you open a share that requires a passcode. Expires when you close the browser or after 14 days, whichever is sooner.
• Preference. Remembers that you accepted this notice, so we do not ask every load. Stored in the browser (local storage). Lasts until you clear it.

Both are strictly necessary under EU ePrivacy rules. We do not require a pre-tick box for them. The Windows application is not a website and does not use cookies; it stores licence state in the user profile on the machine.

Logs, not cookies

Our host keeps a standard access log (IP address, time, path, user agent) for 30 days so we can find faults and abuse. That is not a cookie.

Changing your mind

You can clear cookies and site data in the browser. The site will still work; you may see the notice again and you may need to re-enter a share passcode. Questions: privacy@belgravearchive.com. See also the privacy policy.
